In welcoming the more than 50 attendees and providing a concise and informative overview of the Tunisian market, setting the agenda for the debate which followed, Dr Al-Shuaiby remarked that “Tunisia’s success can clearly be seen in the construction and real estate sectors where several prominent investors are now developing very ambitious landmark infrastructure projects in the capital Tunis and elsewhere.”

She added, 'such developments offer considerable potential for companies seeking to find new business in the country and UK firms are well placed to take advantage of the opportunities now emerging.'

A distinguished panel of speakers followed which included both the UK Ambassador to Tunis, H E Alan Goulty and the Tunisian Ambassador to London, H E Mrs Hamida Mrabet Labidi. The audience of A-BCC member companies and other UK business representatives with an interest in the market continued to enjoy a lively discussion and debate about opportunities in Tunisia.
