A-BCC Secretary-General visits Glasgow Chamber of Commerce
Arab-British Chamber of Commerce Secretary General & CEO Dr Afnan Al-Shuaiby met the President of the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Claire Dunning during a visit the Glasgow on 12 May 2008.

Dr Al-Shuaiby was accompanied by A-BCC Director John Wright and Robin Lamb, A-BCC Business Development Manager, for visits to the Glasgow Chamber and Glasgow University. The meeting was held with leading Chamber officials to discuss future ways of closer working between the A-BCC and Glasgow Chamber. The A-BCC delegation also met Richard Cairns, Glasgow Chamber’s new Chief Executive, Vince McKeown, Business Development Manager and Anne Marie Hughes, International Trade Team Leader at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. Glasgow Chamber is the oldest Chamber of Commerce in the world, having been formed in 1783. The meeting at Glasgow University also explored possibilities of future cooperation with the university and the A-BCC.
