ABCC hosts a farewell reception in honour of Ambassadors for Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen

The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce held a special reception on 14 July in honour of the Ambassadors of Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.

The reception was held as a farewell for H E Omer Mohammed Ahmed Siddig, the Ambassador of Sudan, H E Mrs Hamida Mrabet Labidi, the Ambassador of Tunisia and H E Mohamed Taha Mustafa, Ambassador of Yemen, all of whose terms of office in London were drawing to a close.
Paying tribute to three distinguished diplomats, Dr Afnan Al-Shuaiby, Secretary General and CEO of the ABCC, warmly thanked the ambassadors for their support for the work of the Chamber over the years.
“The close working relationship that the Chamber is privileged to enjoy with the Arab Ambassadors,” Dr Afnan stated, “represents the essential bedrock of support without which an organisation like ours would not be able to carry out all the work we are entrusted to perform.”
On behalf of the ambassadors, the Sudanese Ambassador expressed thanks to the ABCC for its hospitality in hosting the reception.
The event held at the Chamber’s premises was attended by many ambassadors and senior business executives.
