ABCC hosts meeting with Arab Commercial Attaches

The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce held a meeting with the Commercial Attaches and Economic Counsellors from the Arab Embassies in London on the afternoon of Monday 5 October.

Dr Afnan Al-Shuaiby, Secretary General and CEO of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, warmly welcomed the guests to the Chamber and chaired the proceedings.
The main items on the agenda for discussion were the forthcoming Arab-British Economic Forum (ABEF) and the certification of documents.
Abdeslam El-Idrissi, Director of Trade Services at the ABCC, gave a presentation on the importance for trade of following the correct certification procedures. A discussion followed.
The meeting also considered how the ABCC and the Embassies could work together more closely in the future to promote bilateral trade.
Meetings between the ABCC and the Commercial Attaches of the Arab Embassies occur at regular intervals.
