ABCC hosts Mohamed Bin Rashid Centre delegation
The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce hosted a reception for a delegation from the Mohamed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development in Dubai on the evening of 29 June.
Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby, ABCC Secretary General & CEO, welcomed the visitors from the UAE and stressed the importance of developing closer working relations between the chamber and leading Arab public organisations such as the Mohamed Bin Rashid Centre.
Dr Afnan offered the use of the chamber’s excellent facilities for more events in future and hoped that it would come to be seen as a home for all Arabs in London.
The UAE Ambassador H E Abdul Rahman Ganem Al Mutaiwe'e paid tribute to the important role of the chamber in this regard and hoped to see more events of this kind taking place.
Finally, Adel Al Shared, Executive Chairman of the Mohamed Bin Rashid Centre, made a presentation to Dr Afnan in acknowledgement of her work and that of the chamber in facilitating Arab-British relations.
The future leaders of the UAE who were part of the Mohamed Bin Rashid Centre delegation were taking part in a leadership development programme to learn how public institutions in the UK function.
