Arab British Export Club on Libya attracts capacity audience
The latest Arab-British Export Club hosted by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce showcased business and investment opportunities in Libya.
Addressing a full house at the ABCC’s premises on the afternoon of 18th February, keynote speaker Sir Vincent Fean stated that Libya has been demonstrating its evolution towards a market economy in recent years and it was still moving in this direction, a process that was opening up new opportunities for business and investment.

Bilateral partnerships between neighbouring countries and with European nations such as the UK were viewed as highly important by Libya.
Addressing the latest business opportunities for British companies, Sir Vincent mentioned oil and gas, water resource management, construction services such as architecture, education and training, financial and legal services, healthcare and transport.
Sir Roger Tomkys welcomed everyone on behalf of the ABCC and thanked the event’s sponsor, Europe Arab Bank, whose Senior Project Finance Director, Howard Gooder, spoke about the opening up of banking and financial services in Libya.
