Bahrain Finance Minister Visit
On 22nd April 2009 the Secretary General & CEO Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby met with HE Mr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Finance, Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss means of enhancing trade and business relations between Britain and Bahrain.
On 22nd April 2009 the Secretary General & CEO Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby met with HE Mr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Finance, Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss means of enhancing trade and business relations between Britain and Bahrain.
Their talks focused on what the ABCC could do to promote business, investment and other opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
The ABCC’s activities include the latest Arab British Export Club which will feature opportunities in Bahrain and is due to take place on 29 April.
The Arab British Chamber of Commerce has also taken the lead on the UK side in the Bahrain British Business Council (BBBC), which was launched at the Chamber’s premises in November 2007. On behalf of the ABCC, Dr Afnan offered to continue efforts to help promote closer cooperation between Bahrain and Britain in the future.
