Dr Hanadi Mubarak Al-Mubaraki Book Launch

On the evening of 28 April, the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce hosted the UK reception to mark the UK launch of the book ‘Procurement of International Business Incubation Programs: Quantitative & Qualitative Approaches’ by the Kuwaiti academic Dr Hanadi Mubarak Al-Mubaraki.

The event and was attended by Arab Ambassadors, diplomats, other dignitories, academics, business and media representatives.
In his opening remarks, HE Khaled Al Duwaisan, GCVO, the Ambassador of Kuwait and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, thanked the ABCC for supporting the event. He welcomed the book by remarking that the contribution of SMEs to the economy had been too often neglected.
The Ambassador expressed Kuwait’s pride in the active role playing by the country’s women in public life, of whom Dr Hanadi was a prime example.
For her part, Dr Hanadi briefly outlined her researches into the history and continuing importance of incubators as providers of essential business support.
Omar Al Kurdi, the ABCC’s PR and Events Executive, conveyed good wishes on behalf of Secretary General & CEO Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby and Chairman Sir Roger Tomkys both of whom were unable to be present on the occasion.  
Later during the reception the author spoke to visitors and signed copies of her book.
