Mr George Asseily,OBE

Mr Asseily was born in Lebanon and educated in Beirut and in the UK. He is a banking professional and industrialist with extensive experience in running industrial, financial and real estate companies, and is well connected with City and international financial institutions.

He has been a Director of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce since 1986 now he is acting Secretary General for the Chamber; he is also Chairman and Founder of the Centre for Lebanese Studies in the UK; MD and Chairman of Edouard Asseily et Fils SAL (Lebanon); Chairman of Societe Fonciere pour la Construction SAL; and MD of GT Asseily SAL, Lebanon.
