Mr Khaled El-Seif
Businessman and a leading member of the business community in Saudi Arabia, manages one of the largest business groups in Saudi Arabia and is active in various committees and councils dealing with the promotion of International trade and bridging relations with the west.
- Mr El-Seif was born in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1954 and gained a Batchelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 1975.
- His current positions include being Chairman of the Saudi Committee for the Development of International Trade (CIT) at the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Board member of Saudi-British Joint Business Council since January 1993; Board Member of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, London, UK since February 1996; Board member of Riyadh Philanthropic Society for Science (Prince Sultan University) since 1999; Member of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2005- 2009).
- President & CEO of El Seif Group of Companies, Riyadh - Saudi Arabia since 1975. The Group comprises the following companies and Establishments: El Seif Engineering Contracting Company; El Seif Investment company; El Seif Development Company; Musaed Al Seif & Sons Company; Saudi Medicare Company; Arabian Medicare Company; Universal Advanced Systems Company; International Management Development Company.
- Mr El-Seif is also a Board member of the following Saudi and International Companies: Al Azizia Commercial and Investment Company; National Power Company; Modern Arab Construction Company; Chairman of Marina Towers S.A.L., Lebanon; Chairman of El Seif Holding Company, Lebanon.
- Previously Mr El-Seif has held the following positions: Member of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for two consecutive terms (1993-1997, and 1997-2001); Chairman of Contractors Committee, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for two consecutive terms (.(1993-1997, and 1997-2001); Chairman of National Contractors Committee at the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and industry, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (1997-2001); Vice Chairman of the Saudi Committee for the Development of International Trade (CIT) at the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry since March 2000.
- He has also been a Member of the Advisory Committee from the private sector (formed by the Ministry of Commerce) to support the Saudi Arabian-World Trade Organization negotiating Team; Board member of the Engineering Committee at the Ministry of commerce (1994-1997); Board Member of the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Washington. D.C., USA (1994-2002); Board Member of the Saudi National Committee for the International chamber of Commerce; Board member of Saudi Bahraini Bank, Manama -Bahrain (1985 to 1994).
