Mr Al Tayer
He was the Vice Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (1982-1997) and Chairman since 2000. Besides, he was a former member in the Federal National Council (1981-1987) and, a member in Dubai Municipality Council and "Etisalat" Board of Directors.
- A board member of Dubai Council for Economic Affairs.
- Chairman of Al Tayer Group, a group of more than twenty companies operating in vehicles, manufacturing and industrial services, and trading in consumer items.
- He is a Partner and Managing Director of "Al-Nisr Publishing" which publishes the English daily newspaper "Gulf News" and its weekly magazine "Friday", and a partner in "Motivate Publishing" which publishes three specialized magazines, periodicals, and books.
