Arranging Terms of Payment
Every company will wish to avoid a situation whereby debts are owed.
The way to avoid bad debts with a company you are dealing with for the first time is to request payment by Irrevocable Letter of Credit. A company based in the UK will not be surprised that you require this. When you have built an established business relationship with a company, you may wish to consider offering alternative payment terms.
