Arab British Business Resource Centre
The Business Library is located on the ground floor of the Chamber building in Upper Grosvenor Street.
It is only open to employees of member companies of the Arab-British Chamber by prior appointment with the Librarian and an exception is made for university's students who are doing their researches on the Arabic economy of the Arab World.
The Business Resource Centre is part of the Business Services, and is open every weekday from 9am to 5pm.
As well as an extensive range of English-language and Arabic newspapers, magazines and specialist trade journals, the Business Resource Centre contains commercial trade directories from the Arab world and the UK, extensive references on the business laws of the Arab states, economic forecasts and reports for Britain and Arab countries, specialist dictionaries and a wealth of standard references.
The Chamber's Business Resource Centre is unique in that it maintains up-to-date sources for those wishing to study both the Arab world, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. One particular strength is the wide range of materials that the Business Resource Centre receives from the Arab world. These range from Chamber of Commerce magazines, to Bank Accounts and Company Reports. However, it should be pointed out that much of the information we receive from the Arab world is in Arabic.
