Our Business Information Team offers the following services for companies wishing to market or source goods in the Arab world.
Ready-made Lists
We have a number of ready-made lists that can be bought 'off the shelf'. These lists cover the areas and sectors that are most commonly requested from the Chamber. You can see details of the lists that are available for purchase here, and should consult the fees section for guidance on how to pay.
Tailored Manual Search
Using current commercial directories, Arab Chamber of Commerce Directories and the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce's own database of companies looking to source products in the UK, research is undertaken and lists prepared according to your specific criteria. Data is provided either in the form of lists in pdf format, printed lists to be faxed or posted to you, or we can post you a set of printed mailing labels.
Having received your request in writing (an email or fax is sufficient), initial research will be carried out to assess the number of companies fitting your criteria. You will then be quoted a price for production of the list and upon receipt of your payment the list or labels will be prepared and despatched to you. Database Search
The Chamber maintains various databases of both UK and Arab companies, and can undertake a search to provide lists. Our databases are derived from a number of sources and are updated as often as practicable.
Company contact details can be supplied as printed mailing labels or in list format. Having received your request in writing, initial research will be undertaken to assess the number of companies fitting your criteria. Trade-related Laws and Regulations
The Department endeavours, where possible, to hold copies of trade-related laws and regulations for Arab countries. Whilst we cannot guarantee that we will have the relevant regulation or law to hand, please feel free to send us your enquiry, preferably by email or fax, and we will let you know whether we can assist you. This type of enquiry is also subject to charges, and further details can be obtained by consulting the fees section.
Fees for Business Services
Research is undertaken and lists and publications will be despatched only when full payment has been received for each service.
Members of the Chamber are entitled to substantial discounts on fees for research services, lists and publications. These usually amount to reductions of between 25% and 33% on prices applicable to non-members.
