Scholorship Programmes

In addition to our Student Grants programme outlined above, the Foundation participates in a few shared scholarship schemes, in partnership with other funding supporters.

Cambridge University

In collaboration with the Cambridge Overseas Trust, up to five scholarships are offered for each academic year beginning October to citizens of member states of the Arab League to pursue one - year taught postgraduate courses of study in subjects relevant to their country's needs.

The scholarships open to students of outstanding merit who need support, are tenable for one academic year and will cover the University Composition Fee at the overseas rate, approved College fees, a maintenance allowance for a single student and a contribution towards return air fare.

The British Lebanese Association

In collaboration with the British Lebanese Association, a London based charity, up to two jointly funded partial scholarships are offered annually in October to Lebanese applicants of outstanding merit to pursue one-year postgraduate Masters courses in subjects of special relevance to the development needs of the Lebanon during this period of re-construction. The combined value of the scholarship is approximately £12,000.

The Said Foundation

In collaboration with the Said Foundation and certain British Universities, up to three full scholarships are awarded in October to students from The Levant. These scholarships are awarded to students studying one-year Masters courses, who fulfill the requirements of both The Said Foundation and the ABCFF.
