Arab British Publications Portfolio
The Publications Unit at the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce produces three new titles: Arab-British Business, the fortnightly bulletin, the annual Arab-British Trade Directory and the quarterly magazine, Economic Focus.
Arab-British Business, the Chamber’s fortnightly members’ bulletin contains 34-pages of topical business information, news, tenders and business opportunities.
The Arab-British Trade Directory is an annual publication available in both electronic and book form. Its 500 pages contain listings of all the Chamber’s members, plus company listings from each Arab country, the UK as well as the Joint Arab-Foreign Chambers. The 2007-2008 issue was published in July 2007.
The third publication, Economic Focus, is a new quarterly magazine with articles in both English and Arabic. The latest issue, summer 2007, features reports on the UK economy, Oman tourism sector, the Saudi oil industry, new construction projects, Arab science and technology, revenue and customs, as well as recent activities of the Chamber and our member companies.
Finally, the Chamber’s Publications Unit produces occasional researched reports and plans to develop other titles to meet the demands of readers and members.
Our publications highlight the many exciting and positive developments that are occurring around the Arab world, which make it such a challenging and rewarding place to do business. Choice of contents is guided by the Chamber’s founding ethic embodied in the motto, “Friendship through Trade”, a sentiment that remains as relevant today as when the Chamber was established more than 30 years ago.
