Lebanon Documentation Requirements
Document Requirements and Legislation Fees as levied by the Embassy.
Stream I - (Documents to be solely certified by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, after which the exporter is responsible for arrangements to have the documents legalised by the relevant Embassy.)
- Certificate of Origin and Invoice
Stream II - (Documents to be certified by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce and then sent by the A-BCC to the relevant Embassy for legalisation. After certification and legalisation have been completed the exporter may pick up his documents directly from the Chamber's premises or can arrange to have them sent from A-BCC by post or courier directly to his offices.)
- Certificate of Origin and Invoice. Originals and set only plus photocopies for Embassy files.
- Other documents requires Embassy copy
Special Requirements
- Invoice to include the following declaration:
"We certify that the present invoice is authentic, that it is the only one issued by us for the goods mentioned therein, that it gives the exact value without deduction of any payment on account and that they are of ......... origin". - Each invoice should be accompanied by its own Certificate of Origin.
- No copy Certificate of Origin is accepted for legislation unless required by letter of Credit or Importer.
- Medicines, chemical products and by-products should be accompanied by a declaration as to whether they are hazardous or non-hazardous and that they are free for sale in the UK. In addition, medicines and foods require an expiry date.
- Other Documents: Agency agreements, documents of information concerning a company, documents appointing a representative of a company in Lebanon and analysis/health certificates (if not accompanying CoO) all require Foreign & Commonwealth Office Certification prior to presentation for legalisation.

Notes
- All Certification Fees are exclusive of VAT.
- A-BCC fees also encompass the cost of the following additional services:
- Overnight transport of documents between the Agent British Chambers of Commerce outside London and the A-BCC by Securicor.
- Daily Delivery and collection of documents to all Arab Embassies in London by courier.
Supplying the Agent Chambers with all printed forms required for the correct processing of documents.
