Letters of Invitation

Letters of Invitation and Covering Letters information are provided below:

What to do

1. The host company in the Arab country in question must send a fax of invitation to the relevant Embassy / Consulate in London stating the following:

a) Name of visitor
b) Applicant's nationality
c) Applicant's passport number
d) Name of applicant's UK employer
e) Applicant's position within the company
f) The commercial registration number of the host company

A copy of this fax/telex should be sent, from the country, to the Chamber (fax: 020 7245 6688)

The fax or telex number of the sender must appear on the fax/telex.

2. The member firm's staff who are qualified to use the facility must be:

a) An employee of a company
b) Employed full-time
c) Resident in the UK

They may be required to provide proof of the above.

If there are any queries about eligibility for the service, please contact the Visa Section 
3. The letter of application addressed to the relevant Embassy / Consulate in London must be submitted on the letter head paper of the applicants firm showing the exact name and address registered with the Chamber.

4. Applicants must adhere exactly to the following format in their application letter:

Covering letter format

We would be grateful if a business visa could be granted for ......................

(name of applicant) who is a full-time senior executive with this company.

The reason for his proposed visit is to have business discussions with ............................................ (name of local firm).

............................................. (name of applicant's company) is financially responsible for the applicant's visit and undertakes to ensure that he will abide by the rules and regulations of the .................... (insert name of Arab country here).
 
5. The above letter must be signed by a director or partner of the applicant's firm and must be the original.
